Brandi Reed – Doula & Student Midwife

Brandi has been supporting families for over ten years in a variety of settings, including daycares, research, case management, counseling, and birth work. Now a student midwife, she brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for guiding families through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and end-of-life transitions.

She offers holistic support inspired by traditional midwives, including rebozo techniques, closing the bones, herbal remedies, and massage, alongside evidence-based guidance for hospital births learned directly from her doula training with DONA International and ProDoula. Brandi bridges advocacy, education, and gentle support to meet each family where they are.

Brandi supports births in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut, and is also available as a travel doula. She leads a team of doulas locally in RI, MA, CT, and NY, as well as in other major cities across the US.

Brandi also provides lactation consultation support and placenta encapsulation services, helping families navigate postpartum recovery and nourishment. She is also launching an online shop to bring midwife-curated herbal blends directly to families, supporting lactation and holistic healing through steams, herbal baths, milk-boosting remedies, and tea tonics.
